Question:  What's the difference between buying a Print or a Digital Image File?

Answer:  We offer many different sizes of traditional photographic prints on paper with the same quality you would expect from any high-end photo studio. However, if you have experience working with digital photographs on your home computer, you may want to order the Digital File in JPEG format. Many customers like to enhance their pictures with popular software programs by cropping, adding text, creative borders, special effects, sepia tones, etc. Ordering the full-size pixel, Digital Image File allows you maximum control and flexibility. These images will be yours to share with friends and family. Email them, print them, view them on screen . . . the possibilities are virtually endless. You can choose to have us deliver your Digital Image Files on a custom CD-ROM or by email.  

Question:  How do I order?

Answer: Participants of a sporting event or other special occasion covered by Sport N Motion Photography can find their pictures online by selecting the event and then browsing though the gallery. All photos from most events are presented on a single page with thumbnail images, and larger preview images for detailed viewing. The process of ordering photos is simple. Once the location of your photo has been identified on our website, you simply follow the online ordering instructions. Our prints make great gifts and most orders take less than 5 minutes to complete. 

Question:  How do I find my event on PlayerPhotos.com?

Answer:  Find the category of the sport, or event. Once you have done that there will be sub-categories to choose from, they will keep breaking down until you get to the event and date that you are looking for. 

Question: How good are your prints?

Answer:  To start with, we only use the best digital SLR cameras and lenses that have become the industry standard for professional sports photographers of most major newspapers and magazines. You can't get good prints if the images you capture are not of the highest quality. Second, all our pictures are printed on the very best professional-quality photo paper using traditional wet darkroom photo processing techniques. This technology is far superior to common ink-jet prints. Our photos make stunning 8"x10" enlargements that are as good as any high quality studio prints, including a UV protective film to keep them from fading or scratching. 

Question: Why are there text and logos printed on top of the preview photos on the website? Will the photos that I order look like that?

Answer:  For security purposes, all images viewable over the internet contain a visible watermark and copyright. However any photos you purchase through Sports N Motion Photography are produced from the original high-resolution image file and do not contain any overlaid watermarks or text. The images you see online are proofs only. These are not for printing or keeping. To help speed up the time it takes to view pages on this web site, all photos shown are low resolution, and do not represent the quality of the original high-resolution files. Any photos you purchase (prints and digital files) are licensed only for non-commercial, private use. 

Question: How quickly are orders delivered, and how much does shipping cost?

Answer:  All prints and CD-ROMs are shipped within 7-14 business days. Shipping is only $4.95 via First Class Mail, Free shipping on orders over $20.00 no matter how many photos you order. There are no shipping charges for Digital Image Files that are delivered by email. 

Question:  How much do your photos cost?

Answer:  Our products are affordably priced so that all families are able to purchase memories from an event. Plus, we offer the convenience of online ordering from the comfort and privacy of your home or office. You can even order multiple copies at reduced prices. The more you order, the more you save. Question:  If I order a CD-ROM with my photos on it, how do I know it will work on my computer? 

Answer:  We guarantee that our CD-ROMs are compatible with both Windows and Mac computers. The Digital Image Files are ordinary JPEG files that any computer can open. 

Question:  How can I get you to photograph an upcoming game or event, and will I have to pay any fees to get you to come? Do I have to buy anything if I ask you to come to my event?

Answer:  Sports N Motion Photography sends photographers to events at no cost when the event has an acceptable number of players or participants. Send us an email with the time, location, and detailed description of your event. In most instances we will be able to accommodate your request. NOTE: Please use our Contact Us Page on our website. There is absolutely no obligation to buy any photographs and no upfront fees are necessary because all our photography is done on speculation. We come and photograph the game or event and then you look at the photographs and purchase the ones you want after you preview them on our website. We photograph all kinds of events and sports during all times of the year, both indoors and outside. We create awesome images that last a lifetime because our professional photographers capture images that are very different from posed photos; we capture the EXPRESSION and INTENSITY of the moment. 

Question:  Can I purchase high-resolution digital files of my photos instead of (or in addition to) prints?

Answer:  Yes, buying the Digital Image File is the modern equivalent of "owning the negative" in traditional photography. With the Digital Image File you can share your photos with friends and family, email them, print them, view them on screen, and add them to your own website . . . the non-commercial possibilities are virtually endless. The Digital Image Files are delivered as ordinary JPEG files which are 100% compatible with all computers and any photo processing software and graphics programs you already own. 

Question:  I found my event, but I don't see any pictures of me. Why?

Answer:  Action photography is not as easy to do as posed portraits and only the best photos from each event, which meet our standards, are posted on the website. It is nearly impossible to get quality images of everyone. If you found your event, but there were no photos of you posted, then we didn't capture a great photo of you that meets our standards. Event photography can be an intense and demanding task -- not every shot is perfect nor every participant is captured. Why not send an email to us and invite us to your next event? 

Question:  Is your online ordering system secure, and will you share my personal information with other companies?

Answer:  Yes. We have a safe and secure online ordering service that's second to none. With PayPal you can pay by Visa or MasterCard. And No. we won't give your private contact information to any other companies. 

Question:  How long does an event stay on your website?

Answer:  Photos are kept online for at least three months. After that time the photos may be removed to make room for new events. All of our photos are permanently archived and can be easily reposted to the site by contacting us. 

Question:  Are your photos available for publication?

Answer:  Sports n Motion Photography occasionally provides publicity photos to local media outlets including newspapers, magazines and websites. To request permission to use a photo in a publication or website, please send us an email with the details of your request. 

Question:  I'm an AOL customer. Why do images on the PlayerPhotos.com website sometimes appear blurry and/or out-of-focus?

Answer:  AOL's browser utilizes a default image compression tool that will often blur or soften some images. To disable this compression and render sharper images on all websites you visit, follow these simple steps:
